The three things, I hope, don’t have to be tangible or visible. Because given the urgency of the situation, taking items might be futile. What I would take along are Me, Myself and I. The three most valuable things to me after God and his commandments. It might seem egotistic to say, but given the situation and my biblical stands, beside ‘godliness’ and the three, nothing else matters. In fact, I equate this saying, “they loved not their lives unto the death” (Rev 12:11). Not necessarily their lives but the things that consist life are of little importance. Moreover, wasting time scavenging for cherished items might jeopardize the purpose of evacuating in the first place.

Me, myself and I are more valuable than any item and with the ‘three’ the items can be regained. I must also caution that I’m not speaking of or encouraging Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), but the three are just a clichéd term that refers to oneself. My ideology or influence is God, as you’ll see and have seen displayed in all my writings; thus, I also strive to follow the verse that says, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven" (Mt 6:20). Of course, this can only be done through Jesus Christ (Yahoshua Ha Mashiah). Another thing that motivates me, though it is also wise to make provision for the future, is the dilemma that King Solomon noted; that is, great mean have labored and not enjoyed their labor and they also work and leave their riches to fools who consume it away – vanity!

Having said all that, the only thing worth taking in a hurricane evacuation is myself.
