Salutations!! Okay it has almost been what? 2 months since our last update? Whoa. Thats a long time. This is Hoyt here. Telling all of our adoring fans, (Frank the Tuna.) that we are still alive and well. Well Mandy is back, and Whilden wants in. So we will vote survivor style to see who gets to be the bassist. I am looking for a singer. Will some god willing individual please just volenter so my dog doesnt have to sing? Nick our loyal drummer/ co webmaster is now at govenors school for a week. Having fun? Well i g2g.Hope you like the sites new layout. Live with what your told and be happy with it.April 27, 1901
Today brings us the first piece of truly bad news we've ever had to deliver. It appears that Josie and Mandy are out of the band, and it is just Hoyt and me, now. This weekend is going to behold the addition of a friend of ours, Whilden (last name withheld for his reputation's sake), as a bassist and we'll just get a freaking dog to bark the vocal lines, because we're getting sick and tired of searching for a willing singer. That is all. Live with what you are told and be happy with it.April 15, 1901
Okay, I'm sorry we haven't written anything up in a while. We've just been busy with tons of other stuff...We have now thrown R.E.M. in the can, and instead we've got an original song coming up (courtesy of Hoyt). Lyrics will be written soon, so hopefully we have something to look forward to now, and so do you. And that is the going-on for now. Oh yeah, Hoyt's birthday was yesterday...Happy #15 Hoyt! February 18, 1901
Today we've done something special: A practice with a central focus! We're now working on R.E.M.'s "Shiny Happy People," and if that sounds disgusting go elsewhere. We've also been working on a song that has yet to have a standing title. So far it's the "Bill and Ted Song." Hoyt is the only member of the band that has attended all practices. This can be attributed to the fact that the practices are all held at his residence. So for now live with what you're told and be happy with it. We are.February 17, 1901
As of today, our band is offically named "High Velocitee," a name that is so unique no one else has it, so update your hit lists accordingly.February 15, 1901
I have some new news to tell you all...our act for the talent show at our school has been canceled for...I guess I could say "unpreventable lack of participation," but I think there may be a better way to put it. Oh, well. At least our buddies in New Kent won't miss anything. February 9, 1901
Hoyt, also known as "Mudball" or "ME" on this page, has been grounded for the time being, so yours truly, Nick, has been kindly asked to take over for a while. So, now all first person sentences written on this site have been made to show no evidence of which maintainer wrote them. This segment is to inform you of Josie's birthday party at 7PM Saturday. (if your're invited, that is) Happy Birthday Josie! And the next practice we'll be holding on Sunday the 11th at Hoyt's. Lyrics continue to be written in the middle of our classes...we'll let you know when something good gets written down. Or we'll just perform what gets done. Live with what you are told and be happy with it.
