While out for a walk, I found a place where the water company had been digging up the ground to replace some water pipes, and where they had put new earth on top. This was very wet, and had turned into mud where they had been driving their diggers over it, and the workmen had been walking all over it (and being paid for it as well - lucky guys!)
Fortunately I was wearing my favourite Adidas astro-turf trainers and green combat trousers, so I could not resist walking all over it, and squelching each foot deep in the wet, sticky mud.
I was only sorry that I did not have my camera with me, so I rushed back home with as much mud as possible on my trainers, to get some photos.
