The kids did an AWESOME job!PICTURES FROM PLAY:warrencountyga.com

In the summer of 2006, we had our first Shakespeare Camp. We performed "Shakespeare Scrapbook on August 27th. It was a wonderful evening, and the kids did a fabulous job with snipits from Macbeth, Hamlet, Much Ado about Nothing, and Romeo and Juliet. We also had one sonnet performed.

We performed our first play, "Big Bad" by Alec Strum. You-know-who, the Big Bad Wolf, was put on trial. With a cast of fourteen characters, humor and drama abounded. We looked to the audience, who served as our jury, for the verdict. The jury was hung, but guilty and innocent verdicts were shown as well as "what if"'s. Sincere thanks go to all of you who joined us and enjoyed the amazing talents of area children on Tuesday, May 1st at 6:30pm at Warren County High School Auditorium on Atlanta Highway. The saying was proved true: Bad dress rehearsal....great performance. If you had been at our rehearsal on Monday, April 30th, you would understand my meaning.
