Concerts in the Park

Spring will soon be upon us, and with it comes a monthly treat.....Concerts in the Park. During the months of May through August, we will plan to provide the entertainment at suppertime, that is 6:00-8:00pm, on the third Thursday. Pack a picnic*, grab a blanket or some lawn chairs and head down to City Park. For 2009, those dates are

May 21st: KAYA....Old School, Blues, Pop, Rock & Reggae from Augusta, Thomson & Warrenton. They entertained us at Sportsman's!

June 18th: Gareth Asher.....Soft Rock and Contemporary from Bowdon, GA, now living in the Atlanta area. Check out his website HERE!

July 16th: Nick Edelstein....Blues, Rock, Americana, a Florida native, now living in the Atlanta area. Check out his website HERE!

August 20th: High Lonesome.....Classic Rock from Gibson, GA. You may have heard them down in Louisville at The Bistro. Check out their website HERE!

*Local restaurants are offering special take-outs for concert-goers, plus we will have Cool Shavings serving up shaved ice, non-alcoholic tropical drinks, soft drinks, hot dogs and candy. Save room for dessert!
