The Artist Kamel Almoughanni
Born in Gaza on 27 December 1943.
B.A. In design-College of fine Arts,
Alexandria 1966.
M.A. In the psychology of symbols and
colors 1987.
Obtained medal of the General Union Of Russian Artists 1979.
Medal of the Dandy Municipality,
Scotland 1981.
Award of the Golden Sail, Kuwait 1989.
Award of the third Jarash Art Festival,
Jordan.
Award of the Palestine Environment
Exhibition. Jerusalem 1978.
Shield of the General Union Of Palestine Workers, Nablus 1976.
Award for the best logo for the first
Palestinian Social Conference, Jerusalem 1986.
Held thirty two personal and dual
exhibitions in and out of Palestine.
Created around five hundred works of art of which part is displayed in different museums and the rest is privately owned.
A founding member of the College of Fine
Arts at Al Najah national university/Nablus.
At present he is the chairman of the
Visual Arts Department in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Al Najah national
university/Nablus.
Designed and implemented the memorial statue at the Palestinian wing in (Expo) in Lisbon/Portugal/1998.
