OT is now over! at least for now! So its time again to get back to the site and start playing some more games. Most importantly catch up on lost sleep. Updated the downloads page with some game art and added my Zupapa cover in full size. I will be adding more covers up as thumbs only. If you want a cover that is not up just shoot me an e-mail

Today RoboB and I received the new Capcom design works art book. This is the best Cap art book yet! I will be scanning in pictures from it over the next couple weeks. I have put up a couple on the downloads page already. here is a sneak peak for those that have not seen the book yet.

Small update on the stupid games page. The response for the Zupapa shock box cover was received very well. I will be putting the final box art up this weekend on the downloads page.
Check out the Japanese AES King of fighters 2K1 box art. What do you think of the cover? I don't really like it strange seeing the SUN logo on there and not the ol' SNK logo : (

was thinking back on the English release of KOF2001, which will be coming
simultaneously with the Japanese release on 3/14. I remember last year that the
KOF2000 release created quite some controversy since NGF-USA acquired the
distribution license, and.. well, their name is synonymous to a curse word
amongst hardcore fans.
This year, the English version release is going to be a 500 stock exclusive by
Neo-geo.com(*1),
which has a much better reputation than last year's
distributor. Considering that it's a worldwide
release, a limited 500 cartridges seems like an awfully small stock, but
comparing to last year, it's 5 times the volume.
So is a limit of 500 cartridges worldwide small or large?
If you're a light user, Eolith's recent announcement will probably stop you from
the investment.
But if you're a hardcore fan, you're probably screaming at yourself that you
might be too late to reserve one, considering that pre-orders already began
since the end of last year.

Today I played KOF 2k1 for the first time at Golf land in Sunnyvale CA. I liked what I played so far the animations are great! I love the edit your striker/playable character feature. Now players are given a choice of using four playable characters or any number of strikers. So you could have a team of four playable characters and no strikers or 3 playable characters and 1 striker etc. Overall I like what I played check out a full review of the game over at neo-geo for life. Also I wanted to let people know about a new arcade system that came out a couple months ago from breeza software its called the crystal system and is suppose to replace the MVS neo-geo system. So far there is only one game out for it crystal kings with another evolution soccer coming out at the end of the month. The whole kit sells for 495.00 over at neo-geo.com, but I am still not sure about it? until next time get in the car and go find your nearest KOF 2K1 until the AES release of the game on March the 14th in Japan and US.

Hey all! As you can see the site has had yet another change. I have now removed the frames version and now added only one page. All the news and updates will be found on this main page. I think this makes the site more accessible and easier to view. Now onto the news. Today I received my KOF 2000 MVS cart from the now famous e-bay logistics Dutch auction. I knew already from numerous e-mails from other bidders that the cart was going to have problems, but to tell you the truth its not that bad. Small graphic corruption on the parental warning screen, health meters (in game), striker select and player select screen graphic corruption. Besides that the cart fully works great! I would rather have a perfect new one, but its the gameplay that matters and its all there! I will be putting up picts soon of what this bootleg looks like. On another note JSRF came out today : ) hope you all snagged a copy. And the once great MAMEDK roms site will no longer have roms up for downloading.
