Craft Ideas for Kids
Indian Hats
& Plaits
Cut carboard into strips big
enough to wrap around the kids heads. Let the kids colour in the
strip of cardboard with crayons, textas or paint. Staple some
feathers ($2 a packet from craft shop or Lincraft) from the
inside. Wrap the cardboard around their head, take off &
staple. To make plaits, buy some thick wool and plait - do the
cardboard the same as the Indian Hat and instead of feathers,
staple the plaits on. Submitted by Nataliewoods2000 18.4.2000
Paper Jewelry
You will need some paper strips coloured textas or crayons and some stickytape or thick cardboard. Draw your rings, then cover each one front and back with a strip of clear tape (this makes the rings sturdier and more shiny). Cut out each ring, then tape together the ends so it fits on your child's finger. |
