Craft Ideas for Kids
Indian Hats
& Plaits
Cut carboard into strips big
enough to wrap around the kids heads. Let the kids colour in the
strip of cardboard with crayons, textas or paint. Staple some
feathers ($2 a packet from craft shop or Lincraft) from the
inside. Wrap the cardboard around their head, take off &
staple. To make plaits, buy some thick wool and plait - do the
cardboard the same as the Indian Hat and instead of feathers,
staple the plaits on. Submitted by Nataliewoods2000 18.4.2000
Paper Jewelry
| You will need some paper strips coloured textas or crayons and some stickytape or thick cardboard. Draw your rings, then cover each one front and back with a strip of clear tape (this makes the rings sturdier and more shiny). Cut out each ring, then tape together the ends so it fits on your child's finger. |
