Graffiti Night'98' was an (annual?) car show sponsored by "The West Tennessee Drifters Car Club" and Hosted by "Jake's Outpost". Having no information other than what the flyer provided, I assumed that "Jakes" was some kind of roadhouse/bar and there would be non-stop festivities. Imagine my surprise when Jakes turned out to be a fireworks stand that also sold affordable (read cheap) leather goods and Harley Davidson belt buckles and cigarette lighters. There was a constant stream of police cars entering for free hotdogs and soda's, so safety was not a concern. Overall, It was a safe and family-oriented type of car show that lost my attention rather quickly. We did, however, meet a few good people, buy an old parking meter, and won 1 of the 25 general trophies that they presented. so all was not lost. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, I took 2 cameras and this one had a bad roll of film. K_Mart lost the roll from the other camera.

The "Primered 50 Mercury" class was well represented.

This 72 2 wheel drive Blazer was really cool. I love the idea of a convertible truck.

The Competition.
