Poland is well-known for exceptionally beautiful folk art. Thenational Cepelia Shops (Folk and Art Industry Agency of Poland) showcase thework of native artists.
The Kurpie region is a known for its Wycinanki; Lagiewniki, Brenna and Koniakow produce beautiful lace and embroidery, and Pohdale is famous for unusual Christmas Creches and woodcarvings.Sochaczew is the center for weaving and Medynia and Zalesie are centers of regional pottery-making. The richly decorated cottages of Zalipie are unique.
