Your first note was B
From now on (unless otherwise advised) begin each note by placing your tongue against the tip of the reed and pronouncing "du". This is called tonguing.
Each note lasts for 2 beats and is called a minim or half-note.



You may have noticed that it's the same piece, one tone lower.
