The Calendar of Caern
This is the average month on Caern. It is the calendar originally used by the elves and has become the norm.
There are 18 months, each having 20 days. There is also one month of only 5 days. This last month is the time at which the evil forces of the world have sway. This is the time which most spend in the company of the local clerics and priests, praying for the quick passage of time and a passing into the next year. The days of this last month have no names and will not be talked about except among the brave and stout of heart.
