Jennifer Bonifacio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bonifacio and Jonathan Simms, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Major W. Simms, Jr. were joined in marriage on July 27, 1999.  The wedding was held on the Clagg Farm off Mount Union Road.  Mr. and Mrs. Bonifacio, Jennifer’s sister and her two grandmothers, Leona Bonifacio, and Dorthy Simmons came from Beckley WV.  Jennifer’s minister officiated at the wedding.  Jonathan’s two grandmothers, June Simms and Genevieve Peters, and his grand father, Charles Peters and his great aunt, Helen Tomlinson also attended.  Jason and Jennifer Simms, Marcie Hatfield, Debbie Simms, Charles Peters and Angela Peters, cousins of Jon, Brenda McComas, Eugene and Carla Peters. About 40 family and friends attended the ceremony.
