What
in the world is ePIPO all about?
ePIPO is all about having fun while making some money. ePIPO will pay its Surf
Partners to surf the web. That's right, we actually pay you to do what you're
used to doing for free. In return, all you do is run the ePIPO SurfWindow on
your computer. We will display ads that we think might be of interest to you
based on your demographic information and your surfing habits. The SurfWindow
is not much bigger than a typical banner advertisement, and you can move it
around anywhere on your computer screen. We don't want to interrupt how you
surf, or where you surf, we just want to provide you with advertising that is
relevant to you. And, in the meantime, you get to make money...not a bad deal.

How
can I make even more money?
Talk to your friends and family and have them sign up as Surf Partners. You'll
earn money for every hour that they surf the web, and can even earn money for
SurfPartners they sign up. That works up to 5 levels - so you can
see that your potential for earning money can grow rather fast. In fact, if you
sign up two people, who then sign up two people, etc. down to five levels, you
will have 62 surf partners beneath you (figuratively speaking, that is). Based
on our current payout structure, you could earn over $150/month. Not bad for
just being a mouse potato. But don't just stop at signing up 2 people; you can
do better than that.

Is
this a pyramid scheme?
Yeah, that's exactly what it is. First we invite you over to our house for
dinner, then we pull out a big white board and start drawing circles on it, all
the while you are trapped in our house...NO! It's nothing like a pyramid scheme,
but that's not a bad question. You can earn money from us even if you never get
another person to sign up. In fact, all you do is earn money from
us. We pay you - you never give us a dime. The coolest thing about ePIPO is that
it doesn't change anything that you already do. You don't have to visit
different sites, you don't have to use a different browser, you don't have to
spend any money or buy anything and you don't have to attend meetings every
Tuesday night. It's just a cool little application that sits on your computer,
earning you money as you surf the web...that's all.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
Is
this going to cost me anything?
Nope, not a dime. You can cancel at any time, and you can open and close the
ePIPO SurfWindow whenever you want. If you want to surf the web without the
SurfWindow visible, just close it. You won't be earning any money, but we
promise, there are no strings attached.

Okay,
I like what I hear so far. But what the heck does ePIPO stand for?
ePIPO stands for justice and world peace, as well as... Oh. Now I get it. ePIPO
is taken from the Greek word epipolos, which means "companion." If you
want to know the truth, it's a cool sounding word, and we thought the whole
Greek connection would make us sound smarter to our friends. (It isn't working
so far.)

Now,
can you explain to me how to pronounce ePIPO?
It's a cool word, but you have to pronounce it right. It is pronounced /ee'pipp'oe/
E - as in e-mail. PIP - Think Gladys Knight. O
- As in, "oh my gosh." That's it, ePIPO. Got it?
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
Does
it matter what resolution my computer display is set to?
Yes. The SurfWindow runs in two modes. In "single banner mode," it
displays one 468x60 and one 120x60 banner ad. In "double banner mode,"
which is available if you run in 1024x768 resolution or higher, we display two
468x60 banners.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
I
don't understand. Single banner? Double banner?
Our new SurfWindow has the ability to detect your screen resolution. In
resolutions under 1024 x 768, the only option is “single banner.” This means
a single LARGE banner (468x60) and one small “button” (120x60). Running in
1024 x 768 mode or higher, you’ll have the option of running in single or
“double banner” mode. Double banner mode displays two large banners
(468x60). Since our large banners generate more revenue for us, we allow you to
earn money and points faster in double banner mode.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
What
difference does it make which mode I'm in?
Uhmm... you see a different number of banners? Oh, and our current payout
structure takes into account which mode you’re running in. When running in
double banner mode, the payout is currently $.35 per hour for personal time. Any
of your direct referrals running in double banner mode earn you $.06 per hour,
as do those on your 2nd, 3rd or 4th levels. Referrals on your 5th level earn you
$.10 per hour if they surf in double banner mode! If you run in single banner
mode, you will earn half $.20 per hour for your personal surfing time. If your
referrals surf in single banner mode, they generate either $.03 or $.05/hour
depending on which level they're on.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
So
if I run in single banner mode I can only earn half of what's possible in double
banner mode?
Nope. We want to give everyone the same opportunity to earn. If you run in
double banner mode, we'll credit you for up to 35 hours of surfing per month. If
you run in single banner mode, you can accrue cash up to 60 hours per month.
Since we want to work with round numbers, it turns out you can make a few more
cents with double banner mode than you can with single banner mode, but you can
earn at least $12.00 per month for your personal surfing time.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
Do
you have any limitations on what I can make?
Yeah, we promise that you won't become as rich as Bill Gates by using ePIPO.
Actually, we do have three different limitations:
-
We limit the total number of paid hours
one person can accrue each month (this helps protect us against fraud).
Currently, you can accrue 35 hours if you run in double banner mode and 60
hours if you run in single banner mode.
-
We will pay you for people referred by
you, but we require you to "match" your referrals' time. Two hours
of single banner mode surfing is equal to one hour of double banner mode
surfing. Need an example? If one of your referrals surfs in double
banner mode for 20 hours, you would need to surf for 20 hours in double
banner or 40 hours in single banner mode to get paid for their
entire time. If you only surf in double banner mode for 15 hours, you
will only be paid for 15 hours for your own surf time, and 15 hours for your
friend's surf time (but, your friend will be paid for their entire 20
hours). If you surf for 10 hours in single banner mode, you'd be paid
for your 10 hours, but only 5 hours of your referral's time.
We hope that made sense.
-
Finally, we want you to get a lot of
referrals to build up your own earning potential. However, we absolutely
require that you don't send unsolicited emails, or "spam." Doing
so is immediate grounds for termination of your ePIPO Partnership. Read our Spam
Policy.
That's it, no other limitations. It's
really pretty simple.

How
do I actually get my money?
In any month that you accumulate $24.00, you'll be eligible for payment. At the
end of each month, we look at accounts to determine who gets paid. We'll
then process your account, and contact you regarding payment options or
requirements. We’re pleased to announce that we have partnered with ecount.com
to be our provider of online payments.
If you have any questions concerning this matter please email
payment@epipo.com.

What's
this "ecount" thing?
ecount is our electronic payment partner - the method we're now using to send
your ePIPO payments. ecount sends and receives money via email and has a
16-digit debit number that makes it good for purchases anywhere MasterCard is
accepted. You can even get your own ecount Card(tm) that lets you spend the
money in your ecount at stores on the street and make withdrawals at ATMs.
It's fast, easy and all but eliminates the administrative stuff and paperwork
associated with manual ePIPO payments, so this option will let you receive your
payments much more quickly.
If you have any questions concerning this matter please email
payment@epipo.com.

What do I have to do
to get paid with ecount?
Simply keep watching your account page. When we’re ready to process the next
round of payments, there will be a notice on this page. We will then request
your permission to transmit the necessary data to ecount. Then, you'll be
notified by ecount to come claim your money. That’s it! You don’t need to
sign-up for an ecount right now, we'll take care of all the details.
If you have any questions concerning this matter please email
payment@epipo.com.

How do I donate
money to WorldVision or other charities through ePIPO?
We're putting the finishing touches on our donations piece, so watch for news of
the details. As soon as we're done, you'll be able to make donations directly
from your ePIPO earnings to help save children from hunger.

Cool, I'm going to
spam everyone on the Internet with this great new idea!
Don't even think about it! We hate spammers; they are the lowest life form on
earth (well, there are some interesting life forms in the refrigerator here at
the offices, but you get our point). We have just one recommendation if you are
thinking about sending unsolicited e-mail...DON'T!. ePIPO is a very cool, very
hip, and very responsible company. We don't want some bozo out there soiling our
good name. If we hear that you are spamming, we'll yank your membership and you
will forfeit all accumulated earnings. We're very serious about this. If you
want to report some lame spammer, drop us a line at: spamdork@epipo.com.
Please read ePIPO's spam policy, http://epipo.com/spampolicy.htm.

How does ePIPO use
the information they collect from me?
ePIPO's primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with a
customized experience. This includes displaying for you (in the ePIPO SurfWindow)
advertising that is relevant to you. In other words, if you are a 27 year-old,
software programmer, we won't be showing you a lot of ads for Depends
under-garments (unless, of course, you specifically request us to). By knowing a
little bit of information about you, ePIPO is able to bring more appropriate
product solicitations to your attention.
In our role of delivering
advertisements, ePIPO serves as the middleman. Advertisers give us an
advertisement and tell us the type of audience they want to reach, for example,
females between 25 and 35. ePIPO then delivers the advertisement to SurfPartners
meeting that criteria. In this process, the advertiser never has access to
individual account information. Only ePIPO has access to individual information.
As part of our service to
advertisers, we conduct market research and follow-up interviews and offers.
Based on your surfing history, we may need to contact you on behalf of our
advertisers. This communication is always done by ePIPO. For more
information on ePIPO's privacy policies and opt-in email opportunities, please
read our entire policy. You can find it here.

What kind of
computer and browser can I run ePIPO's SurfWindow on?
Our ePIPO SurfWindow is a stand-alone application, so it will run on any Windows
based computer. We also support both Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator
versions 4 and newer. This should include about 90% of PC users on the Internet
today.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
Is the SurfWindow
available for AOL users?
Yes! The SurfWindow has been designed to work with AOL's dial-up service.
However, to get credit for surfing you must minimize the AOL browser and use
Netscape or Internet Explorer (Version 4.0 or better) to surf the Net. (Time
spent in chat rooms or other internal AOL member areas is not counted as active
surfing.)

What if I want to
buy advertising space on the ePIPO network?
If you are an advertiser, and want to investigate an advertising partnership
with ePIPO, check out our Advertisers
page or just e-mail us at: ads@epipo.com.

Will
ePIPO be available outside of the US?
Yes. International
users can certainly join, and build their referral base. At this time,
international users can also download the SurfWindow and run in Points Mode.
Cash Mode is not an option at this time for any user outside of the United
States. We will allow SurfPartners in other countries to use the SurfWindow in
Cash Mode as advertising sales and legal and tax requirements allow. We look
forward to all of our non-US friends joining us.

Can
I publish banner ads on my website for ePIPO?
Yes you can. We have a few already completed with more to come.

How
do I get started?
started. This form will start your signup process with ePIPO. The
SurfWindow is available for immediate download following the sign-up. It is
incredibly easy to install the SurfWindow (if you are smart enough to fill out
the form, you are qualified to install our program), and once installed you are
ready to start making money. The SurfWindow will deliver you periodic
advertisements, and will also count your money for you as you surf the web.

cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
What
are Points and why did you create them?
As you know, ePIPO pays you to surf the Web. We allow our non-U.S. members,
members who have "maxed out" their hours, and members who just like
contests, to use the SurfWindow to earn Points which are entered into raffles
where they can win thousands of dollars in prizes.
Sounds
cool, sign me up. (back to the top)
How do
I earn Points?
You earn Points in many of the same ways you earn Cash. Simply right click on
the SurfWindow and choose "Points." You'll get Points for every hour
you have the SurfWindow running, and you'll also earn Points from your referrals
who run in Points mode. Currently, we give you 120 Points per hour if you run in
double banner mode and 60 if you run in single banner mode. Your referrals who
use the SurfWindow in Points Mode generate 10 points per hour in double banner
mode and 5 points per hour in single banner mode. Additionally, we reserve the
right to issue Points for any number of other activities - for signing up for
programs, downloading applications, making purchases, or even as birthday
presents. All Points are then entered into random drawings for a number of cool
prizes every month. (We also plan on running limited duration contests based on
criteria other than Points. Keep your eyes open for these contests!) Check here
for complete rules.
