Hello! So tell me, how's life for you so far?
Life's been good so far. I haven't gotten into too much trouble and I'm happy with the way things have worked out.

Do you have any regrets?
I try not to regret anything I do. I think everything happens for a reason.

What does being a singer/musician mean to you? Is it just a job or is it a true passion of yours?
Singing has always been a passion as well as a hobby for me since I was really young so I don't really look at singing in general as a job. I look at the business side of the industry as a job.

Has anyone inspired you to be who you are today?
My ex boyfriend Mikey and I broke up about 4 months ago and I seriously think that if everything didn't go down the way it did.. I wouldn't have grown into the person I am today.

Do you have any goals for your career?
My dream is to win a Grammy.

Do you have any goals outside of your career and in your personal life?
I just want to be happy. I want to go to college and make a good living to eventually help support a family.

I heard you're coming out with a new album! When can we expect that out?
The label wants the record to drop in March.

Have you written anything on it?
I 'm definitely doing things different this time around. I've split from my former manager/producer/writer and I'm taking the time to experiment. I definitely have a lot of creative input and I finally feel like this is MY record. I've co-written with various people and the album still isn't finished. I'll be cutting things I've written on my own over the past year as well...

Do you feel that this record shows more of who you are and what you can accomplish singing then your first album?
Definitely! My first album was completely controlled by someone else. I never really felt like it was my project. I think teens want to hear what other teens in the business have to say and I'm taking full advantage of that this time. It's been so much fun.

How would you describe yourself exactly?
Well, lets see... I'd say I'm a mature goofball. lol I like to have fun and act like an idiot when I can but being in this business has forced me to grow up faster than others.. mentally that is. I'm a normal 17 yr old girl..

Do you feel that you're different from the average person, considering you've been on tour, released an album and have had a 'taste of fame'?
I think if I would have stayed in Philadelphia, in a regular school, on a regular schedule and hadn't done any of this, I would be a completely different person than I am now. Being in this business has taught me A LOT within the last 3 years and I'm really glad I took this opportunity. I refuse to let the 'taste of fame' take me over though. I've met so many people my age who are so wrapped up in their fame and fortune that they lose sight of reality and act like their ''shit don't stink''. It really pisses me off. I still feel like I'm a normal person who does normal teenage things and leads a pretty normal life.. I just do a little something extra on the side that doesn't include my friends. lol

Now to shift directions a little and head on over to the questions from some fans...
I've been receiving numerous questions that have to do with you and ex-Dream
Street member Jesse McCartney. There's too many rumors about you two to ask
them all! What exactly did happen between you two? Did ANYTHING happen?
Jesse and I became really good friends while we were touring together and our moms became really close as well. We are just friends and when he comes to L.A., he usually stays at my house for a few nights because we don't get to see each other that often.. although we do talk on the phone a lot. He's like my brother. lol

How's that make you feel, knowing so many girls are concerned and wanting to know so much about your personal life when it comes to your past boyfriends or just friends?
It's actually kind of funny that they even care! LOL! A lot of female singers take their personal life so
seriously though. I don't mind sharing it because I know soo many girls are going through the same drama with boyfriends that I am! I mean, some stuff I do like to keep private and I won't really talk much about it but I don't mind answering the questions.
