For all you guitar pickers out there, here's an arrangement of LOHAD. I love
this song so much I had to figure out how to play it, as Bruce would say, "in
some fashion". Having done so I thought others might like to have it.

Repeat Chorus 2
       Em
Oh, this train.
        D
Come on this train.
        G
Come on this train.

Note that this is not the key Bruce plays it in. This is the key of G and
makes for a good acoustic solo version. Bruce plays it in Bb mostly,
although he has changed over the course of the tour. It started out higher
and I think he thought his voice sounded like it was straining, so he lowed
it. Any way, if you want to play it in Bb just transpose it by moving
everything up 2 1/2 steps, or use a capo at the 6th fret. This version allows
for lots of open chords that can ring nicely. Fit's with the lyrics... lot's
of "ringin'" and "singin'" being done by those big wheels, steel wheels and
bells of freedom in the lyrics.

TIPS
The opening riff played by Bruce is done in the ||:G///|////|C///|////:||
section and can be accomplished by
1) using your index finger to pick the sequence of notes C-B-G on the B
(2nd) and G (3rd)strings ( string/fret = 2(B)/1...2(B)/0...3(G)/0) while
gripping the open G chord (3rd fret position) as you pick out the notes of
the chord (arpeggio) instead of strum them... and
2) using your pinky to help pick out the sequence of notes D-C-G on the
B(2nd) and G(3rd) strings (string/fret = 2(B)/3...2(B)/1...3(G)/0) while
gripping the open C chord (1st fret position) as you pick out the notes of
the chord (arpeggio) instead of strum them. Let the individual notes of the
C & G chords and these added fingerings ring and overlap on another.

The signature riff of the song....the part played by Steve on
mando... is played during the ||:G///|////|C///|////:|| parts in the intro and
elsewhere. You can approximate this riff by using your index finger to
hammer on and pull off the G string/second fret while gripping the G chord
and doing the same on the B string/first fret and G string/second fret while
gripping the C chord. I can't diagram it, so you'll have to figure it out
using these written instructions. Enjoy!
