Soozie
Tyrell was born on May 4th, 1957 somewhere in Italy. She grew up in
Taiwan. Some years later she moved to America around the area of New
York City.
Soozie
has been a longtime friend of Patti
Scialfa. She joined the E
Street Band in 2002 for the recording of "The Rising"
album and the following worldtour. Previously she also had fiddled
on Bruce's albums "Lucky
Town", "The
Ghost of Tom Joad" and "Tracks".
And she worked with musicians like Patti Scialfa (on "Rumble
Doll"), Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes (on "Why
Is Love Such a Sacrifice"), John Hammond (on "Found
True Love"), Sheryl Crow (on "C'mon, C'mon), Train, etc.
Live she also played for example with Elvis
Costello and with Mick
Jagger at his "Primitive Cool" worldtour.
On
April 8th, 2003 she released her first and only album called "White Lines"
on "Treasure Records", which got very good critics.
