The Draglets of Draglet Isle
General Info
Draglets are separated into three distinct groups: Superiors, Inferiors and
Mutations.
Superiors
Superiors are called superior because...well, that's what they have dubbed themselves. Unlike
Inferiors they can talk to other unbonded creatures. The reason this is because they have more
telepathic capabilities than Inferiors, and so even though they are talking with their mouths, they
are still using telepathic translation capabilities.
Superiors are also bigger than Inferiors and Mutations.
Superior = S
Inferiors
Inferiors are only called Inferior because that's what Superiors call them. They are more
numerous than Inferiors, and more agile. Unlike Superiors they possess no telepathic capabilities
so only their bondmate and other draglets can understand them. Inferiors also lay larger clutches
then Superiors.
Inferior = I
Mutations
Mutations are the rarest of all draglets and only occur when Superiors bond with Inferiors, which
is rare in itself. Mutations possess both of the Inferior and Superior's gene pools, and so their
colorations are not the normal coloration. For instance they can have a swirling pattern or up to
four different color body markings instead of the average two. Another important aspect of the
Mutations is that they can teleport.
Mutation = M
Colors
Each color is considered a breed (except with Mutations) and each breed has a name. The name
is made by observing their special talents in the wild, and/or what kind of environment or object
their colors resemble.

Mutations = Extremely Rare
Mutations can be any color pattern and any gender.
Fyreflowers
Fyreflowers are very important to the draglets. When they are young they need to eat more
flowers than any other food, for flowers are what makes them breathe fire. The reason for this is
that they have a chemical lining in their second stomach, that when mixed with flower cells and
pollen, and other fyreflower growing plant's cells ignites and produces flame on a cue sent from
the brain. So, draglets, when older, can control when they breathe fire. In turn draglet gives the
flower a chance to spread their seeds by combining their chemicals with the flower's seeds and
pollen. As the draglet grows older, they don't need to eat as many because it takes a long, long
time to use up all of the flowers if they enter the second stomach correctly. That is why they need
to learn how to swallow differently at an early age.
