I remember, I hardly watched TV during my schooling. Mainly I spend time with TV for news. Some of the frequently watched TV channels were: CNN International, Star News, BBC World, Doordarsan, Sun TV, Asianet, CNBC. I used to watch old Tamil movies, Malayalam movies and all kinds of comedy movies/movie clips in Tamil & Malayalam. Also I love to watch Cartoon network.

During my schooling and during the early days of my under graduation, I did not show much interest to read news papers. Rather I was interested to read my academic/electronics related materials. I spent most of my time finding electronics related magazines/materials, especially "Electronics For You" and "Elektor Electronics". Still I remember the first "Electronics For You" I bought from a shop in Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu, India for Rs12 ($0.25) in 1992. After reading Electronics For You magazine, I was verymuch interested to buy that. But it was difficult for me to get/buy EFY for some years from 1992.

This is a flash-back. Now I have realised the importance of reading news paper. I have been trying to read news paper regularly. One such initiative is this web page and the other is: I subscribe Indian and US news papers here in USA. Any comments, do post it at tar_amir@yahoo.com .
