what is the color of my heart today
red like passion
white
light, like the clouds
or deep in blue
new like peach
yellow like a song
tainted green with emotion
is it shaded in gray
or streaked in orange
pink like candy, sweet
does it shine like a bubble
transparent
or is it heavy
the price of gold
shiny and precious
what everyone seems to desire
no matter what the color
my heart is mine
