CLevenshulme has always had a large population throughout the last Centrury, and has always been a pleasant place to live, with plenty of shops, pubs and other local amenities for people to use. However during the last decade Levenshulme has seen a decline in living standards, with hardly any money being invested in an area where a lot of people live. In my opinion the problems started when houseing associations started buying private dwellings. This in turn has had problem familys moving into houseing that is let to them by the houseing associations ,which in turn are getting their money from the DSS.! You only need to look in The Manchester Evening News ,under houseing, and you will see the amount of propertys (that were once private) that are now owned by the houseing association that are for rent. ylick here to add your text. |
