On Cromwell Grove stands Levenshulme Library. The library was opened in 1903, built through a grant by Andrew Carnegie,who was an industrialist. The top picture was taken in 1910,whilst the bottom picture was photographed in 2000. The view looks very much the same-apart from the trees that obscure this wonderful building.o add your text. |
