Today there were 2 practices for the childrens' choir. The first was at 11.30 am during the bilingual service. They were introduced to the basics of voice control and breathing techniques. The children were excited and thoroughly enjoyed the session conducted by Melissa Yap that they agreed to ask their parents for permission to practice again at 2.00 pm.

The 2nd session was tougher as they were split into 2 groups and went through the contemporary song. Although the song was new to almost everyone, they caught up easily and manage to sing together well. We are so thrilled to see everybody's progress as they meet the challenges before them. They were asked to practice at every available opportunity on their own and also with their siblings and friends until they meet again next Sunday,  same place and time i.e COGSJB at 2.00 pm till 3.30pm. They will work on the accapella and hymn together with Charlotte Goh and Melissa Yap.

 Please pray for the children health and safety and of course, that their voices improve over time with practice until the competition which will be held at St. Christopher's Church, JB on 23th September 2006.
