Oatmeal Bread
1cup wheat flour                                 3 medium apples, chopped
1/2 teaspoon baking soda                  1 cup raisins
2 teaspoon salt                                    1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg                             1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 cup brown sugar                           1-1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup butter                                          1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup nuts                                         1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla or orange

Mix above ingredients together completely, then place in a greased 9-inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-minutes, until it begins to move away from the the sides of the pan. when cooled, this bread may be shaped for ritual. Also, the fruits and nuts may be changed for different seasons.

Graham Bread
2 cups graham flour                           1 teasppon baking powder
1 teasppon baking soda                    2 tablespoons sugar
1 teasppon salt                                   3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup molasses                                1 egg, beaten
1-3/4 cups buttermilk
Mix all dry ingredients together in 1 bowl, and all liquid in another. stir the liquid into dry, mixing quickly and well. Bake at 350 degrees untils edges pull away from sides of pan and it is golden brown (approx. 30-minutes)
