My favorite resturant in Grenada is my mother's kitchen. To me she makes the best food on the island. Grenada's National Dish is called 'Oil Down' This is make from a local tropical vegetable called breadfruit. Other Ingredients include, coconut milk, varity of meat,another local called callalou,and other vegetables, stream in the coconut milk. Humm, I feel hungry thinking about it. Almost every Grenada offera a varity of seafood Dish, such as fresh fish. When I say fresh fish I mean you can still see the fish jumping when you buy them, that's how fresh they are. Lobster, Counch, and the local like to have occopus, locally known as "Sea Cat'. Most hotels have their own resturant and 'The Grenada Tourist guide' can give you quiet a few name and location. whichever you choose make sure to try the Island National dish 'oil down'.
