Introduction / Index

Who said school is boring? Just how boring is it to design something that greatly enhances your driving game pleasures? ( I guess we're lucky, then)

At the moment we're in the final year of our education, and one of the tasks is to design and construct a reasonably complicated 'device' (of own choice) that will be rated at the end of the year (that's Jan. 1999). Apart from doing the engineering / construction part, we also have to maintain a Website, and we've got to hold a presentation, demonstrating and explaining everything to our teachers and fellow students.
Our system consists of two 'units': a pedal unit and a steering unit. Driving games will see it as a joystick, so by turning the wheel and pressing the pedals, you control the car in the game. Oh, and just in case you are wondering what the AKN bit stands for, its A from Aschwin, K from Kasper and N from Niels. (our names, silly)
To keep this site structured, it's devided into several parts. Just click on what you'd like to find out more about.
