Trekking in the Dolpa region of Nepal

The main tourist attraction in Nepal is inevitably the glory of the Himalayas. No trip to Nepal is complete without doing some kind of trek. We are able to organize virtually any trek as you wish, although due to political instability or monsoon rains, it may not be advisable to trek in very rural areas at some times. We will, of course, advise you if this is the case. Here is a sample of treks we can offer :-

Trek Route Minimum time required Accommodation
Kanchanjunga 4 weeks  Camping
Arun Valley 3 weeks Camping
Langtang, Helambu & Gosainkunda 1 to 3 weeks Camping & Teahouse
Gorkha, Pokhara 1 week Camping
Ganesh Himal 3 weeks Camping & Teahouse
Annapurna Circuit 3 weeks approx Camping & Teahouse
Annapurna Sanctuary 12 to 13 days Camping & Teahouse
Jomsom 9 to 13 days Camping & Teahouse
Ghorepani & Poon Hill 5 to 7 Days Camping & Teahouse
Jumla, Rara 2 to 4 weeks Camping
Mustang 2 weeks Camping
Kathmandu Valley 3-5 days Camping & Teahouse

These times are based on average trekking times, of course it is wise to allow extra days as these are ONLY ESTIMATES! It is a good idea to have about 2/3 days in Kathmandu before travelling anywhere to give you time to adjust to the new environment and recover from jet lag. The same is true before you fly out, just in case anything delays your returning to Kathmandu, and of course, to give you time to stock up on souvenirs and presents!

Happy Trekking!
