Terry Lamb has selected Kevin McGuinness at fullback for the Tigers next trial against the Melbourne Storm on Saturday 16th Feb at Gladstone.
Lamb is interested in seeing how McGuinness handles the new position as he believes he could be an outstanding player in that position if he can handle the pressure of the job involved at fullback.
McGuinness who is used to playing mainly in the centres and a bit of five-eighth, may be ideal for the fullback position with his excellent speed and agility to move around the field. He can bob up when he wants to and spot the gaps and make plenty of line breaks. It is worth a try since it is only a trial!
Full preview of the trial in the coming days!
In other brief news on the trial, Melbournes Matt Orford joins the injured Storm list of Swain, Howe, and Robbie Ross who will not take part in this weekends trial.
