Craig Field Reinstated

Craig Field has won his court battle against the Wests Tigers after a panel decided that the termination of Field's contract after he got into a fight with a patron at Balmain Leagues Club was too harsh.

Field has 1 year remaining on his contract with the Tigers so in his own best interests if he takes the field he would play his guts out to attract another NRL club by season 2003. No doubt after all of the problems they have had with Field they wont reinstate him.

Field claims he was "egged on" at the Leagues Club by idiotic guests and defended himself accordingly when one of them grabbed him on the shoulder.
