The Tigers will have the home ground advantage this Sunday at Leichhardt Oval when they take on the Parramatta Eels. The Eels last week were awesome against the Panthers, and no doubt they will be looking to post another large scoreline. However, the Tigers will have better ideas after defeating the Bulldogs last weekend. With a rejuvenated Terry Hill, the Tigers look very speedy and strong in the backs.
Terry Lamb has named an unchanged lineup for Sunday's game.
Squads:
Tigers: Joel Caine, Hassan Saleh, Kevin McGuinness, Terry Hill, Ahmad Bajouri, John Wilson, Ben Jeffries, Corey Pearson, Robert Mears, John Skandalis, Mark O'Neill, Darren Senter, Ben Galea. Reserves: Willie Manu, Troy Wozniak, Chris Patterson, Steve Trindall
Parramatta: Brett Hodgson, Luke Burt, Jamie Lyon, David Vaealiki, Jason Moodie, Daniel Wagon, Andrew McFadden, Nathan Cayless, Brad Drew, Michael Vella, Nathan Hindmarsh, Ian Hindmarsh, Andrew Ryan. Reserves: Daniel Irvine, Alex Chan, Michael Beuttner, David Solomona, Scott Donald, Adam Dykes. Two to be omitted
Ben Jeffries will once again look to run to the line more often, as well as relying on the Tigers forwards to lay a platform early to start applying pressure on the Eels defence.
I think the Tigers have a good chance of making this a testing game for the Eels. Apart from last seasons abismal effort at Leichhardt against the Eels where they lost 66 - 12, the Tigers will provide much more stern opposition this time around.
The question is... can the Tigers pull of 2 upsets in a row?
My Tip: Parramatta look too strong. Eels by 10
