A tough clash is ahead with the Tigers travelling out to Toyota Park to take on the Sharks, who were unlucky not to beat the Broncos last weekend at ANZ Stadium.

The Tigers have a reasonably good record against the Sharks, and have not lost at Toyota Park since their inception in 2000. Last year they drew 16 - 16 and in season 2000 the Tigers won 16 - 12. The Tigers have the forwards to match it with the Sharks, it will be just up to Jeffries and Withers to fire like they did last week against the Panthers. With the Sharks flat attacking line, this is the opportunity for some intercept tries to take place as the Tigers like to get in your face in defence.

Squads:

Tigers: Joel Caine, Hassan Saleh, Kevin McGuinness, Matt Seers , Ahmad Bajouri, Lincoln Withers, Ben Jeffries, Steve Trindall, Robert Mears, John Skandalis, Mark O'Neill, Troy Wozniak, John Wilson. Reserves: Willie Manu, Luke O'Donnell, Trent Runciman, Corey Pearson, Chris Paterson

Sharks: David Peachey, Colin Best, Paul Mellor, Chris McKenna, Preston Campbell, Matthew Johns, Brett Kimmorley, Jason Stevens, Dean Triester, Chris Beattie, Phil Bailey, Karl Lovell, Nick Graham. Reserves: Danny Nutley, Paul Gallen, Dean Bosnich, Luke MacDougall.

Tigers will have to watch the talented Matthew Johns, and Brett Kimmorley in the halves, as well as Jason Stevens and Chris Beattie in the front row. I believe if the Tigers can get off to a good start, then they can win. Otherwise the Sharks have a very fast backline which the Tigers will have to be weary of.

My Tip: Tigers to hang on. Tigers by 2
