Many are calling it the upset of the season in the Tigers 22 - 16 win over the Parramatta Eels at Leichhardt Oval.

Terry Lamb had the boys fired up as the Eels never took the lead in the match. A try to Joel Caine and Troy Wozniak made the Tigers lead 12 - 0 after half an hour and at this stage everyone was thinking "Will they hold on?". After the Eels scored and made the scoreline read 12 - 6 with 2 mins to play in the second half, the Tigers pulled off a set play which resulted in Terry Hill scoring in the corner. With a 16 - 6 lead on the scoreboard at halftime, this made Tigers fans edgy with anticipation and excitement.

The second half didnt start overally well with an early try to the Eels to peg back the scoreline to 16 - 12. Then a try to Jamie Lyon levelled the scores at 16 - 16. However, the Tigers showed passion and commitment, and a Joel Caine penalty goal made the score 18 - 16 Tigers way with 10min to go. The games was wrapped up when a desperate Jason Moodie pass found a rampaging Mark O'Neill who flew in for the intercept and scored in the corner with 2mins remaining to wrap up the game for the Tigers.

Terry Hill had another blinder of a game, as well as Mark O'Neill and Pearson at the front overwhelming the Eels pack.

Good early signs for the Tigers, and if they can keep this up they can setup a platform to make the top 8. Only early days, yet the confidence is riding high with the boys at the moment.
