The Annapolis Irish Rowing Club invites you to its annual regatta on Saturday, September 19th, 2009.
As of right now, we are having difficulties securing a race site. We have been “bumped” from Sandy Point State Park by the Governor. The regatta, however, will be LOCAL, (not in Solomon’s Island ). As soon as we know exactly where we will be racing I will pass that information onto you all.
In the meantime all other aspects of the day remain the same. The first race of the day will start at 1230 and the Captain’s meeting is at 1200 noon.
The following schedule of races is tentative and subject to change due to weather and/or participants and location:

A picnic will follow the regatta (wherever we have it) and an awards ceremony is scheduled for 9:00pm at the Fleet Reserve Club downtown Annapolis . A block of rooms have been reserved under Kerry French/Annapolis Irish Rowing Club at the Quality Inn near Sandy Point State Park (410-974-4440) for a rate of $99 plus tax. Cut-off date for these rooms is September 1st.
