Today 4th of July 2005, at dawn, deaf athlete Enzo Cecca and the Italian Republic Senator Mr. Salerno, were able to rise the Lis flag on the top of the Monte Rosa, 4250 meters high, in order to speed up the approval of Italian Sign Language recognition law. They also raised the FSSI (the new Italian Federation of Deaf Sport) flag.
A happy and historical event dedicated to all Italian Deaf people! There were over than 300 Deaf people!
