A mountain climb for promoting
the recognition of the Italian Sign Language
On Sunday 3 July 2005 Mr Roberto Salerno, Senator of the Italian
Republic, who presented the Bill n. 736/2001 on the recognition
of the Italian Sign Language (LIS), will undertake a sportive adventure
with his good friend Enzo CECCA, a deaf athlete, aimed to sensitize
and promote the quick adoption by the Italian Parliament of the
Bill 736.
Mr Salerno and Mr Cecca will climb
together the "Monte Rosa" and will hoist the flag with
the symbol of the LIS and the three-colour Italian flag.
On 30 June 2005, 12h.00, at the
Hotel Bologna, near the Italian Senate, will take place a press
conference to inform and present the sportive adventure to the journalists.
