With regard to TV live broadcast, the Ceremony will be captioned by the RAI Televideo service and interpreting service in Italian Sign Language (LIS) will be ensured.

During the competitions, from the 13th to the 17th of March, Rai (the national TV broadcasting) will broadcast everyday at 6.00 p.m. an Olympic News with interpreting Service in Italian Sign Language.

A novelty on Saturday the 11th and the 18th of March: two 20-minutes news special on the Paralympics will be broadcasted, form 5.05 p.m. to 5.25 p.m., during the program “Pomeriggio Sportivo di Raitre” (“Raitre Sport Afternoon”), which will also be signed in Italian Sign Language.

All the planned interpreting services are provided by the Italian Association of the Deaf (ENS), with the sponsorship of the Piemonte Region Authorities.

The ENS would like to express special thanks to the Piemonte Region Authorities and to the Sport Programs as well as to the Social Secretariat of RAI (the national TV broadcasting), for the sensitiveness they have shown in occasion of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
