GUTS officer. Human "host" for Ultraman Tiga... he has a special type of genes that allow him to have the "prestige" (?!) to be able to change to Ultraman using the Spark Lance...

Rena Yanase (by Takami Yoshimoto, 22 as of 1996)
GUTS officer. Daigo's girlfriend... or supposed-to-be girlfriend... their love story didn't start off from the beginning though... she's a pretty sensitive and clever woman...

Megumi Iruma (by Yukari Tanaka, 36 as of 1996)
My Idol~~~~ oops, no.. sorry, not me.. I wasn't involved in the cast at all... hehe, she's the Captain of the GUTS.. takes control from the headquarters.. so she seldom goes out to work with her team mates.. easy life eh? nonono... she actually plays a very important role in making fast and smart decisions.. without her the Earth would have been destroyed long long ago... just in case Tiga's not around sometimes, we still have Iruma at least => I really admire Iruma's strong and smart character.. and love her leadership qualities =>

Seiichi Munakata (by Akitoshi Otaki, 33 as of 1996)
Co-Captain.. assists Iruma, but works out of the headquarters along with the other GUTS officers... he's serious and seldom smiles... I keep having this feeling he likes Iruma, but then the story never emphasised much on their relationship... pple r more concerned about Daigo and Rena...

Tetsuo Shinjoh (by Shigeki Kagemaru, 26 as of 1996)
GUTS officer. Most popular member of GUTS... after Daigo (hehe) he likes pretty much acting cool.. and stupid as well.. hee, he loves his sister Nami a lot.. will do anything to make her happy...

Masami Horii (by Yukio Masuda, 28 as of 1996)
GUTS officer-cum-lab scientist. Nah, he doesn't work in the lab that often.. he's more the "officer" type.. bickers a lot with Shinjoh.. I suppose they're really good friends.. I mean, good-bicker-friends => is a workaholic, as proved in 1 of the Evoliu episodes.. he disappointed his fiancee a little then with his job.. but eventually got happily married anyway => he's the genius who often tries to milden the effect of the monsters by inventing a few weapons and gadgets...

Jyun Yazumi (by Yoichi Furuya, 18 as of 1996)
GUTS officer, our computer wizard. Cute and little and seldom moves anywhere out of the sight of his computer... whenever he appears, he's bound to be just behind his computer.. and repeats his lines a lot.. like "Oh no!" "I'll send the image over to the screen!" and explains... explains.. explains............ he always stays in the headquarters with Iruma

Mayumi Shinjoh
TPC nurse. I suppose she nurses officers who get injured now and then during accidents? she also happens to be Shinjoh's dearest younger sister...

Ultra-terms

Spark Lance
A special device use to turn anybody with the suitable DNA into Ultraman Tiga... in this case, it's supposed to be made for Daigo, but in the Evil Tiga episode, somebody else who has similar DNA as Daigo also used the Spark Lance to change himself to Ultraman

Colour Timer
Ever noticed the blinking red light on Tiga's chest? that's the Colour Timer.. times Tiga's energy/battery life.. hehe.. once, Tiga's energy totally ran out, and the first Ultraman came from his planet to recharge Tiga.. and together they destroyed the monster...
