Not alone does he see me, nor weak as I am
He sees sprinkled upon me the blood of the Lamb.
He sees Jesus in me and the new me in him,
His Light now within me, I burn like a gem.
His eyes through the earth continually roam,
Ever seeking, supporting those who are his own.
His mercy we see each morning renewed
Ascribe to his name the majesty due!
In him will I trust through paths bright or dark,
His light ere before me, the right way to mark.
Sometimes my eyes dim, see only a glimmer,
Take courage my soul; He's faithful, remember.
Through valleys and storms, though the seas froth with rage
On the morrow comes victory like a freshly turned page.
Fear not the dark season, what we need he will give,
It is written, "By faith, shall his righteous ones live."
Our God and our Father, the Truth and the Light,
Help us to walk by faith, not by sight.
How do we your gates enter and kingdom explore?
"To the Way which is knocking, just open the door."
