Praise the Lord! Lift your voice!

Dance to the Lord, you saints of light,
The Day Star has dawned and banished the night!
Tomorrow's the first day of the rest of my life,
My cares are rolled over; Flee! worry and strife.
I'm joined to the Vine where the sap ever flows,
Transfusing the garden where seeded Word grows.
Rebuked be you winds, and calm now you seas!
To the other side I'll go, your Creator's with me.
Darkness, Be gone! And Gloom follow suit.
Resistance is futile; dare not to dispute!
Through this valley I'll pass, to pastures of green;
Foes behind me destroyed by the sword quick and keen.
To'rd the Rest of my God I press with endurance;
"Today" still remains, I have his assurance.
Lord, you take on yourself all my worry and care;
So of these worldly things, I'm no longer aware.
Peace I leave, peace I give; know my promise is sure.
Abide in me, abide in my Word, that you may be pure.
Without you Lord Jesus, I can do no thing;
You're my life, you're my will, you're my reason to sing.
