Some feel the Sphynx is a key to this heavenly mystery, having the face (beginning) of a woman and the body (ending) of a lion.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 1.7a, 8.13a, 9.10

My son, if you will receive my sayings, and treasure my commandments within you, make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding; for if you cry for discernment, lift your voice for understanding; if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will discern the fear of the Lord, and discover the knowledge of God. Then you will discern righteousness and justice and equity and every good course. For wisdom will enter hour heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; discretion will guard you, understanding will watch over you, to deliver you from the way of evil. To whom will he teach knowledge? Those weaned from milk and those taken from the breast. Isaiah 28.9

For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. Hebrews 5.13-14

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses, destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10.3-5

That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2.2-3

Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the one who created him. Colossians 3.9-10

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the true knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that his divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and excellence. For by these he has granted to us his precious and magnificent promises, in order that by them you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control, and in self- control, perseverance, and in perseverance, godliness; and in godliness, brotherly kindness, and in brotherly kindness, love. For if these are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 1.2-8
