Patience

By your patience you will gain your life (soul). Luke 21:19

The word of God places great emphasis and import on the quality of patience. Jesus said, "By your patience you will gain your life." Consider this: If the majority of the results and manifestations that Christians seek came to pass instantaneously, or even quickly, we would have no need of patience. James says that patience produces a "perfect result" whereby we are made to be "perfect and complete."

And the seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word in an honest and good heart, and hold it fast, and bear fruit with patience (perseverance, steadfastness). Luke 8:15

[Be] imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises Hebrews 6:12

We exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulations brings about patience; and patience, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3

Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. And let patience have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:3

Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth. Revelation 3:10

If we hope for what we do not see, with patience we wait eagerly for it. Romans 8:25

Strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience Colossians 1:11

Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until he gets the early and late rains. James 5:7

As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord’s dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful. James 5:10

What credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. 1 Peter 2:20
