Worship

Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come before him; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. 1 Chronicles 16:29

You shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous is a jealous God. Exodus 34:14

Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Psalm 95:6

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your holy name for your lovingkindness and your truth; for you have magnified your Word above all your name. Psalm 138:2

This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far away from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men. Matthew 15:8, 9

Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall you worship the Father. You worship that which you do not know; we worship that which we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be his worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." John 4:21

We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God, and does his will, God hears him. John 9:31

And when he again brings the first-born into the world, he says, "And let all the angels of God worship him."Hebrews 1:6

Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed. Revelation 15:3, 4
