In July Nanase completed her 10th anniversary tour "Gig '05". An impressive all-star roster formed her band: Shinya (ex. Luna Sea) on drums, Crazy "Cool Joe" (ex. DEAD END) on bass, Marty Friedman (ex. Megadeth) on guitar, Pata (ex. X Japan) on guitar, and D.I.E. (ex. hide with spreadbeaver) on keyboard.

According to Marty Friedman's official website (see the news archives) Nanase is working on a new album with her band from Gig '05, plus producer Hajime Okano.

February 16 - Happy 30th Birthday Nanase!
Nanase has released a new mini-album of ballads entitled "First Quarter"

Nanase is currently appearing in the drama "87% - Watashi no Go Nen Seizon Ritsu." The official website for the show is here.
