A Kingdom of Dreams ch.16
Well, here is chapter 16. I know what you want to read, but I’m so sorry, it’s not a lemon. No, please don’t throw vegetables at me or give me the puppy dog eyes. My friends are gonna read this, and what would they think if I wrote a lemon? I am so sorry! Gomen nasai! Besides, I’ve never written lemon before and I’m not comfortable with that. I don’t own DBZ, please read on even though it’s not lemon.

Oh, yeah, someone asked for the ages of Pan, Bra, Trunks and Goten:
Pan-18
Bra-18
Goten-20
Trunks-21
Now enjoy the story!

Pan broke the kiss and gasped for breath.
"So that’s how a happily newly wed couple act?" said Pan.
"Yeah," said Trunks grinning, "So can you?"
"Well, I guess so," said Pan smiling, "It can’t be too hard to act like Goten and Bra."
"WHAT?" yelled Trunks, turning around and scanning the crowd until his eyes fell on Goten and Bra in a corner of the garden, who were indeed lip-locked. "Why I oughtta…"
Trunks began rolling up his sleeves and walking in Goten’s direction, but Pan grabbed his tie and held him back.
"Hey, take it easy!" said Pan giggling, "My uncle would never do anything to hurt Bra! Besides, can’t Bra take care of herself?"
"Yeah, I guess," mumbled Trunks, "and Goten spared my life when he could have killed me easily."
"He did?" asked Pan with her eyes wide. "Stupid Goten!" she muttered under her breath, sending Goten a death glare.
"Hey!" cried Trunks, acting like his feelings were hurt, "I heard that!"
Pan laughed. She didn’t feel terrible about being married to Trunks. Yet.
"So can we do the act?" asked Trunks hopefully.
"Yeah, sure," said Pan, "It might even be fun!"
"Uh…well," Trunks said slowly, "They’re dancing over there, so, maybe, you would like to dance with me?"
"I would be honoured," said Pan giggling and taking Trunks’ hand. They walked onto the grass where the dancing was taking place and they joined in.
"So, Vegeta and Chikyuu will soon be at peace," said Pan softly after a moment of silence.
"Yeah," agreed Trunks nodding, "When our parents come to look for us, they will find us married and there is nothing they can do about it."
"Do you regret this?" asked Pan hesitantly.
"Regret what?" asked Trunks.
Pan blushed and looked down at her wedding ring. She tilted it slowly to make it sparkle.
"Oh, no!" said Trunks firmly, "I most certainly do not regret our marriage. As a matter of fact I look forward to it."
"Really?" asked Pan, wonderingly, "You see our marriage as more than just an alliance for peace?"
"I guess so," admitted Trunks, "I intend to make the best of it. Besides, I’d rather be married to you than anyone else."
Pan blushed at the compliment. "I guess I’d rather be married to you than anyone else, too," she said.
"Hey!" said Trunks, his face lighting up, "I just remembered something! I got you a wedding present!" Trunks tugged on Pan’s arm. "Come with me!" he said dragging her inside.
Pan let Trunks lead her through the castle and through some doors.
"You better not have gotten me a dress!" said Pan scowling. Trunks laughed.
"No, of course not!" he said, "I got you something that I thought you might like."
Soon he had brought Pan into a grand room. On one side of the room, swords and lances and a variety of weapons hung on the wall. On the other side different sizes and styles of armor and fencing suits and battle wear hung on the wall. In the center of the room lay a ring in which battling may be held.
"This is all for your use, anytime you want to train with someone!" said Trunks smiling. Pan’s eyes widened at the sight. She had never thought that someone would ever get her a present that she would love as much as this. It was heaven for a warrior.
"So do you like it?" asked Trunks. Pan turned to him still in shock.
"Do I?!" she said in awe, "I love it!" Pan threw her arms around Trunks’ neck and hugged him tightly. "Oh, thank you!"
Trunks grinned, "There’s a catch though."
"What?" asked Pan.
"You have to let me be your first training partner!" he said with a wink.
"Oh, of course!" said Pan, her eyes shining, "How did you know that I would want this?"
"Well, back at the Son Castle I heard you say that you used to sneak off and train with your father’s men," said Trunks smiling, "and I noticed what a great fencer you were at the fencing tournament."
"Thank you so much!" said Pan again looking at the beautiful room.
Trunks lifted her chin so that they were looking in to each other’s eyes. "Thank me with a kiss," he said. Pan obediently lifted her head and kissed Trunks.
"Oooh, Goten," they heard a voice say, "Look at the newlyweds! Aren’t they cute?"
Pan and Trunks looked up to see Bra and Goten standing in the doorway.
"Prince Trunks of Vegeta," said Goten firmly, "I don’t care that you’re married, if you do a thing to hurt my niece, personally, I WILL KILL YOU!"
Trunks nodded slowly, but Pan and Bra laughed.
"Hey, Goten!" said Trunks just as meanly, "If you do anything to my little sister, personally, I WILL KILL YOU TOO!"
The girls fell over laughing.
"C’mon Pan," said Bra giggling, "Let’s go check out the swords to get away from our overprotective family members!"
"Wait for me!" said Pan running after Bra.
Goten and Trunks just stood there glaring at each other.
"I…um…am gonna go make sure the girls don’t cut themselves!" said Trunks.
"Oh, sure like they are actually gonna get cut!" said Goten rolling his eyes, "If you haven’t noticed they’re both expert swordsmen."
"Expert swordswomen!" corrected Trunks.

The next morning Pan woke up in a strange room. She looked around and remembered that she was married, and that she now shared a room with Trunks. Her husband. She looked to the side and sure enough saw him sleeping there. He’s so handsome. Pan shook her head, When did I start thinking that he’s handsome?! Well, sure he is but… Oh, damn, am I falling in love with him? This wasn’t supposed to happen! What if he doesn’t love me?
Pan looked again at Trunks’ sleeping form. He had wisps of lavender hair lying across his face. So handsome. Pan got up and walked out onto the balcony.
It was a habit she had since she was little to go out onto the balcony as soon as she woke up. She breathed in the fresh morning air.
"Good morning, Felipna!" she whispered smiling, "beautiful Felipna! Did you know that I am now your queen?" Pan rested her elbows on the rail of the balcony and looked out onto the beautiful land.
"Good morning, princess," she heard a voice say behind her. She turned around and saw Trunks standing right behind her.
"So you are awake?" she said smiling then she turned back to look at Felipna.
"You wake up early every morning?" he asked.
"Aye," she said, "I got used to it while training in my father’s army."
"Oh," he said coming to stand beside her, "The country is beautiful isn’t it?"
"Oh, yes!" said Pan gazing at the lush green hills, and fields of flowers. Prince Trunks was silent for a moment.
"I think that we will be happy together," said Trunks softly. Pan looked up at him.
"We will be, under one condition," she said.
"Anything," said Trunks.
Pan took at deep breath, "You have to give me your word that you will never harm anyone in my family."
Trunks smiled, "I give you my word." Pan smiled happily.
"Then I think, Prince Trunks, that we shall be happy together."
"I certainly hope so!" said Trunks taking Pan into his arms and kissing her.
Okay, it’s not lemon, but you can use your imagination to imagine what happened between them can’t you? Please try! Chapter 17 will be out in a few hours, meanwhile
