A Kingdom of Dreams ch.8
Hi everyone. Sorry that it took me three days to get this chapter out. I haven’t been feeling well and I got into a fight with my friends, so if I wrote it would probably be sad and depressing. I’m so sleepy! But, because of the reviews I got I have to get this chapter out, I don’t want to keep you waiting forever! Here it is, and I don’t own DBZ.

Pan was looking into the mirror on her vanity and resting her chin on her hands. She had been rescued from the Vegetans by her uncle Goten, but now she wasn’t to sure that she wanted to be rescued. She didn’t want to admit it to herself, but she knew that she missed Trunks and felt guilty about leaving.
"Hey, kiddo," Pan heard a voice say. She looked to the door of her room and smiled when she saw her uncle Goten there. "Can I come in?" he asked.
"Sure," said Pan softly.
"Hey, What’s wrong, little niece?" asked Goten, "You usually bite my head off and call me a baka. Feeling under the weather?" Goten walked in and closed the door behind him. He plopped down on the sofa (hey, Pan’s a princess, why wouldn’t she have a sofa in her bedroom?!).
"Yeah a little," said Pan sadly. She swiveled the chair around so that she was facing Goten. He noticed how pale and sad her features were.
"Whoa! Pan! You look terrible!" said Goten in shock, "Did those Vegetans feed you enough? Did they hurt you anyhow? Cause if they did I’ll go and…"
"No, uncle," said Pan, "They treated me fine."
"Well, something’s wrong!" said Goten exasperated, "You’re not your usual self." Pan got up and walked over to her bed and sat on it.
"I’ve been thinking…" said Pan slowly.
"You shouldn’t," said Goten seriously, "Too much thinking hurts your head!"
Pan rolled her eyes, "Only if you’re a baka…"
Goten grinned and got up to go and hug Pan, "Yay!" said Goten happily, "Pan’s back!" Pan smiled at her silly, lovable uncle and hugged him back.
"Want to know what I was thinking?" she asked.
"Will it hurt my head?" asked Goten frowning.
Pan smiled, "Maybe, and if it doesn’t, I could always hurt your head for you!"
"No, just tell me what you were thinking," said Goten.
"Well," Pan said sighing, "You know how daddy is all caught up in the feud and won’t think of anything else, and we don’t really like it? Well, Princess Bra and Prince Trunks feel the exact same way!"
"Hold on a sec," said Goten, "Prince Trunks, the vile evil villain, doesn’t like the feud?"
"Oh, Goten!" said Pan, "He’s not really a vile evil villain after all you know! He’s just like us!"
"But legend says that he is a crude monster!" said Goten.
"It’s not true!" cried Pan, "Legend is all just a bunch of lies made up to make us hate the Vegetans and to continue the feud!"
"If this is true," said Goten softly, "Then the whole feud is senseless!"
"I know," Pan whispered. Goten hugged her again and Pan sighed. "Goten, remember when I was little, and daddy went off to war?" she asked.
"Yes," said Goten, "You were crying, and I made a promise to you."
"You promised that someday we’d end the feud," said Pan almost in a whisper.
"And we will Pan-chan!" said Goten smiling, "Someday the feud will all be over and we will live in peace."
"Yes," repeated Pan smiling hopefully, "We will live peacefully in a kingdom of dreams." Goten smiled then let out a huge yawn. His head started to droop and Pan giggled.
"Goten! Wake up!" she said shaking him. Goten’s eyes opened.
"I’m too sleepy," he said, and fell back to sleep.
"Well, I’ll just have to drag you to your room!" said Pan getting up and tugging on Goten’s arm. After 10 minutes of pulling him he still isn’t even out of her room yet. Uncle Goten is heavy, thought Pan as she dragged him. Then she realized that she wasn’t going to be able to pull him all the way to his room, which was on the other side of the castle.
Pan wondered if she should just leave him on the floor, but she decided to drag him onto the sofa and leave him there. So after some more pulling and tugging, Pan managed to get him onto her sofa, and then she went to sleep.
(There’s a reason why Goten is sleeping in Pan’s room. Hint: It has to do with Bra! That ought to get your interest!)

Vegeta
(Remember where we left off Trunks was called away for something important? Here’s picking up from there.)
"Prince Trunks! You have just received a message from your father!" yelled a messenger. He handed Trunks the message and Trunks read over it.
Dear Prince,
Get your men ready. We’re going to lay siege to the Son Castle in one week. I expect you to be ready for battle with necessary weapons.
King Vegeta
Trunks frowned and crumpled up the letter in his fist. How cold and cruel his father was. He didn’t want to attack Pan’s family. Trunks realized how stupid the feud was. If only there was away to end this…
A ripping sound was heard as the zipper of his tent opened Bra stepped in.
"Trunks!" she said firmly, "We are going to end this stupid fighting once and for all! And if you don’t help me I will make you!"
"Okay," said Trunks, "What’s the plan?"
Bra’s mouth dropped open, "What did you say?"
"What’s the plan?" repeated Trunks.
"Are you agreeing with me?" asked Bra stunned, "You’re going to help without a fight?"
"Yep," said Trunks.
"Okay!" said Bra, "Where’s Pan?"
"Oh, yeah, I left her by the river, I’ll go get her!" said Trunks running out. Bra smiled in triumph. The feud was going to end! Soon! But how?

Meanwhile Trunks was searching for Pan. He could have sworn that he had left her right over there… Were those horse tracks in the dirt? And from the amount of distance they were apart it seemed that the horse was at a gallop.
"Damn!" swore Trunks under his breath when he realized that Pan had probably escaped. How could he have been so stupid? He shouldn’t have left her alone and unguarded. And the last thing he had told her was that their kiss didn’t mean anything. Well, it didn’t, did it? But maybe, just maybe…nah.
The next chapter will be out as soon as I finish studying for my geography test tomorrow. Then I also have some math and French and novel study… Well, I’ll get it out soon with more G/B and T/P!
