Explain
It To My Heart.
Part 6
"Bra? Are you home?" He called out
not caring whether or not his brother was home.
"Yes, Gohan, I am," she said as she saw him standing in the doorway.
Bra was very surprised to see him. He hadn't called or come over since she and
Goten announced they were going to be parents.
"We have to talk," he walked in without being invited.
"Sure Gohan, come on in," She smirked.
"I'm glad to see you can find humor in carrying another man's child. Let's
see how Goten would find it funny," he threatened as he picked up his cell
phone.
"As funny as Pan-chan would, I imagine," she quirked right back. Fear
rose in Gohan's throat at the mention of his daughter. Pan could never know. She
hated her mother enough; he didn't want her hating him too.
"Fine-- point taken," he growled not wanting Bra to know he was that
afraid of Pan's finding out
"You don't know that this child is your's. Why are you sure full of
yourself?!" She asked she placed her hands upon her hips, looking very much
like her mother.
"Bra, you and Goten have tried forever to have a baby. I make love to you
once, and you turn up pregnant," he said, his tone a bit softer. She really
was the most beautiful creature he'd ever seen. Her blue-green hair cascaded
down her shoulders to the tops of her breasts. Her stomach didn't show the
tell-tale signs of being pregnant yet, but he imagined she'd be even more
alluring carrying his child.
"Gohan, this baby is Goten's. I believe it in my heart," she stated
clutching a fist to her heart.
"I don't think your heart is telling you that. Your head is," he said
as he moved toward her. He pulled her to him and captured her lips in a fiery
kiss. Bra instinctively buried her hands in his ragged locks as the sensations
Gohan's kiss was causing took over her being.
Bra spoke as she broke the kiss, "I can never be your's."
"I know, but that doesn't mean I love you any less."
"I don't want to break your heart, Go-chan," she said as she ran the
back of her hand over his cheek.
"Just let me have a few stolen moments. That's all I ask."
"But what about Goten?" She stepped back from him.
"I'm torn apart inside, Bra. I can't help feeling guilty loving his wife,
but I can't deny my heart any longer. I love you, Bra-- more than I've loved
anyone," he admitted as he pulled her close again.
"I love you, Gohan," she whispered as he held her tightly.
"Will you see if this baby is mine?"
"But why?" She looked up at him.
"I just want to know. I have a right to know. Don't worry, I would never
tell Goten if the baby was mine."
"Okay, I'll have my mother do a DNA test."
"YOUR MOTHER!? No offense Bra-chan, but she has the biggest mouth in the
world."
Bra laughed at him and punched him slightly. "Silly, she wants to do some
DNA tests anyway-- Goten and I are the first half-Saiyans to . . ." She
trailed off.
"I understand."
"I need some of your blood though-- to compare it to."
"I can do that. I have a check-up in a few days. I'll just swipe some of my
own blood."
"Gohan, how are you going to do that?"
"Where there's a will; there's a way," he repeated the same words his
father had so many years ago.
The next day Tomarotto debated on whether or not to tell his beloved Pan that
her father had an affair with her uncle's wife. Pan, the love of his life. The
woman he wanted to take as his mate. She was the only brightness on this Kami-forsaken
planet he'd found since he'd been wished back by Prince Vegeta. He loved her so
much, but knew that if she discovered Gohan's secret it would crush her. How
would she react when she found out that he had known and not told her? Gohan had
told him not to go to the Saiyan Prince with this revelation, but Vegeta was the
only one Tomarotto could think of to talk to. After all, Vegeta was the only
other full-Saiyan on the planet. Tomarotto took off for Capsule Corp to find
Vegeta and tell him what he had been hiding for so long.
Vegeta's head snapped up as he finished eating breakfast. "Vegeta, what is
wrong?" Bulma asked as she noticed his sudden movement.
"Tomarotto's on his way here."
"Good, I'll set another place then," she smiled as she kissed his
cheek. He shooed her away, not wanting the Saiyan warrior seeing the Prince's
mate fawn over him so. A knock came at the door, and Vegeta arose to answer it.
Tomarotto bowed to the Prince and apologized for disturbing his early morning
meal.
"It's alright, Tomarotto. What is it that you need?"
"Prince Vegeta, I have to talk to you about a matter. It is of the utmost
importance."
"Very well then," Vegeta was just about to tell him they could talk in
the gardens when Bulma came up from behind him.
"Good morning, Toma-san!!! Come in, have breakfast with us!"
"Woman, be quiet! He is here on important business." Bulma ignored him
and dragged the Tomarotto into the house to the breakfast table. "Why is it
that you have to stick your nose into my business?"
"Would you like some eggs, Toma-san?" She offered.
"Arigatou, Bulma-sama," he said as she laid a plate full of scrambled
eggs before him.
"Are you even listening to me, you baka Human?"
"I have some toast as well," she smiled to the Saiyan warrior.
"That would be great," he said as he looked at Vegeta in bewilderment.
"Bulma!! Have you heard a word I have said?" The Prince asked getting
angry.
"Yes, of course I have Vegeta-chan. You think I'm ignoring you, and you're
right," she smiled sweetly. "Toma-san is a guest, and we should treat
him accordingly." Vegeta's blood began to boil, and Tomarotto could feel
him going Super Saiyan.
"Bulma-sama?" He asked. Bulma looked up from the toaster and saw the
Vegeta was getting riled. She simply walked over to the Prince as the golden
aura was enveloping him and lightly rubbed the nape of his neck. The contact
with her caused him to drop out of Super Saiyan and return to normal.
"Now, see, was that all that important to get so upset over?" She
whispered into his ear before taking the lobe between her teeth. He softly
growled to her, an indication that this wasn't over by a long shot.
Tomarotto had turned his head away, not daring to catch the exchange between
Bulma and Vegeta. Vegeta., too, noticed this and didn't feel as embarrassed as
he would've been had the Saiyan warrior seen how Bulma calmed him down.
"Fine, Tomarotto, eat!! I will be out in the gardens when you are finished.
Don't keep me waiting!" He growled as he flew out the kitchen window.
"He's such a grouch sometimes," Bulma offered an explanation.
"Just thank Kami you don't have to live with him," she laughed.
"Yeah," he said before gobbling down the food. He could remember how
much of a spoiled brat the Prince was when he was a child and how things hadn't
really changed. Vegeta was somewhat softer than he was back then. 'I guess
that's what living with Humans will do for you,' he thought as he watched Bulma
pour him a cup of coffee.
"Now, how are you and Pan? Any wedding bells yet?" He spat out his
eggs as she placed the cup of coffee to his left. "Toma-san, I'm sorry. I
didn't mean to . . ."
"It's alright, Princess. It's just that . . . Saiyans don't marry."
"Believe me, I know," she said. She was still a little uncomfortable
with his calling her 'Princess,' but afterall she was the mate of the last
Prince of Saiyans.
"So, you and Vegeta, have never married?"
"No, we haven't. I don't need a wedding ring to tell me that he loves me.
He's been with me almost the entire time he's been on Earth; fathered two
children with me, if he was going to leave he would've left right after Trunks
was born."
"He cares about you a great deal. I can tell."
"You can?! Could you tell me how you do that?" She winked at him.
