As Trunks looked and Pan and Tomarotto, he wondered what could have made his
father so angry at Gohan. The two had never been on really good terms, but to
fight like this? He shrugged it off and took to the sky hurrying to get home to
his wife and son. "Marron's gonna be pissed at me for taking off so
quickly, but I had to know what was going on," he said as he flew through
the air. Trunks knew he was going to have to change his ways now that he was a
family man. He had a wife AND a son to look after now.
"Trunks! There you are!!" Marron shouted as she saw him setting down
in their yard.
"Gomen, Marron-chan. I had to leave in a hurry."
"What was going on?"
"Well, seems my father and Gohan-sama got into a big fight."
"What about?" She asked as Cabot pulled on her blond hair.
"They wouldn't tell anyone. It was the damned-est thing I ever saw!"
"Well, you can ask your father when we go over there," she said as she
turned to walk back into the house.
"Yeah, but I doubt he'll tell me."
Later. . .
Trunks, Marron, and little Cabot sped to Capsule Corp in Trunks's new
"family" aircar. "Marron, don't worry. My folks will love
him."
"I don't know. Your father is Vegeta, after all."
"Well, if he doesn't like him, I know Kassan will," he said taking her
hand and kissing it.
"Yeah, Bulma-sama will love him. How could she not?" She asked as she
looked back into the back seat watching her son play with a rattle. 'He looks
like so much like Trunks-- with pink hair,' she laughed to herself. The family
finally arrived at Capsule Corp after fighting traffic for a half-hour. Trunks
hopped out, removed Cabot from his carseat, and took off running toward Vegeta
and Bulma's home.
"Kassan? Tousan? Are you home?" He hollered.
"Yes, Trunks, we're home," Bulma called back.
"I have someone who wants to meet you," he said proudly as Bulma
rounded the corner. Vegeta was not far behind her as she was dragging him by the
arm.
"Oh, Trunks! He's beautiful!!" Bulma exclaimed as she took her
grandson from him. "Look Vegeta! Your grandson!"
"Yeah, a quarter-Saiyan!" He humphed.
"Pan's a quarter-Saiyan, and she's tough as nails!" Trunks growled at
his father.
"Yeah, Kakarrot's grand-brat is tough, but I'm sure your mother will make
him a little sissy-- just like she tried to make you!"
"Vegeta, if you have nothing but ugly things to say around my sweet little
Cabot-- THEN GET OUT!!!!" Bulma screamed.
"Fine!" He spat back at her. Trunks glared at his father with daggers
in his eyes. 'First, he tries to kill Gohan and know he says cruel things about
my son. What the Hell is his problem?!' He thought.
"I'm sorry, Trunks. I'm not going to let your father talk bad about
Cabot."
"It's okay, Kassan. I'm used to hearing him bad mouth me," he sighed.
"Trunks-kun," Marron called to him as she walked through the door
carrying a diaper bag. "Did you forget about me?"
"Gomen, Marron. Let me help you," he said as he rushed over to his
wife who was loaded down with a very heavy bag.
"I heard Prince Vegetable head saying mean things about my son," she
growled.
"Yeah, but you know my father."
"Still, Cabot is a quarter-Saiyan. That should account for something!"
"Marron-chan, don't you worry about Vegeta. He'll come around," Bulma
said before cooing at Cabot who was now laughing up a storm. Bulma looked into
the little boy's blue eyes which reminded her so much of his mother's. His soft
pink hair curled down the front of his forehead much like Trunks's purple hair
had when he was a baby.
"Besides, your parents loved him!" Trunks kissed her cheek trying to
comfort his wife.
