| Welcome to my gourd creations. I've been working with these magical ornamental hard shelled plants for several years. Prior to being introduced to the gourd, I wood carved totems and totem poles carrying on the art of my parents in the Adirondack region of northern NY state. I still wood carve. From masks, bells, whimsical ornaments to bowls and jewelry. Using a variety of oil and acrylic paints and sands for unique textures. Experimenting with burning, adorning with natural materials such as the tiny tamarack cones, acorns, barks, horse hair, etc. The following are only a few samples of my creations. Enjoy... Andre' |
