Hot Buttered Rum #2
- 1 lb. box brown sugar
- 1 lb. box powdered sugar
- 1 lb. butter, softened
- 1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves (optional)
Instructions:
Cream butter, spices and sugars together. Add ice cream only after well mixed. Store, covered, in freezer. Keeps for months.
To serve: Place 2 heaping tablespoons into mug. Add 1
jigger of rum. Fill mug with hot water; stir. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
