- 1 lb. (bulk) sausage,browned
- 6 slices bread, buttered & cubed
- 3 cups sharp cheese,grated
- 5 eggs,slightly beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Place half of the buttered bread crumbs in the bottom of a buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the grated cheese and cover with browned sausage. Place remaining bread cubes over sausage and top with remaining cheese. Combine eggs,milk,and salt. Pour over cheese,bread and sausage. Cover and refrigerate until needed then bake,uncovered,for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
